I’m finding it harder and harder to gauge what I’m earning.  A bit here, a bit there.  Not really accumulating into a cheque.  At least not yet.  I’ve made money this month but maybe instead of total money earned from now on I’m only going to say what actually hit my account.  Money in my pocket.  Everything else is virtual - sounds great… makes my earnings look a lot better then lets say they really are.

So I’m going with money in hand.  What did I make this month?

$76.40 + $29.25 + $80.00 = $ 185.65

By the 10th… that is what I should have.  I’m pretty happy about that - so far so good and I’m hoping with my SEO efforts on my fan site that I’ll be able to pick it up a little in the Adsense department/Auction Ads and Chitika to get another couple of regular lines of income, coming in monthly.

April Earnings are a bit down in the world of Google. I’m not completely surprised, since I’ve spent zero time optimizing my sites or adding Google to any other sites that month. So, I’m rocking in at just over $10 this month. HOW SAD IS THAT!!! LOL. Yes, very, very, sad. I think I’m going to see what I can do for May to increase that a little bit. Right now… I’m so embaressed by that amount. I almost didn’t post it here. But I’m in it - good, bad and ugly.

So now onto the good I’ve made over $100 this month with Text Link Ads. I couldn’t be more happy with their program. I’ve not had a month go by where I’ve not seen any money come in. I added them to my Music site, which by the way made me so little with other advertising methods, that making over $20 a month with them - really rocks my world for that site. It’s also a steal of a deal for links - this site is a PR6. Anyhoo…

I’ll nail down what exactly I’ve made in April - I’ve been so damn lazy about that. Maybe it’s because I’ve not seen the results I’ve wanted = I’ve just not put in the effort. Made this more a job than a hobby… blah, blah, blah.

I’ve really got to step up to the plate - take risks. Expand the portfolio. Experiment.

I like this time of the month - because it puts a bug in my shorts about the fact that yes, you can make money online. The amount gets bigger each month - slowly. But I’m just slacking and not seeing the “big” picture. So I’m going to get back at it. Try new things - see where it takes me.

… LOL. If only!

Last night I sat in front of the computer for probably 2 1/2 hours. I didn’t really get much accomplished - at all. I seriously need to start writing down a little to-do list and stick to it. Then I’d start to feel like I was actually getting something done. LOL. But I did manage to set up a new sub-domain blog on one of my sites, set up a pretty layout for it and got things in motion. So I really did feel good about that one. But I just sat in front of the computer staring at my PF2007 project and my SMS2007 project. I think I’m starting to feel a bit overwhelmed. I am also wishing I’d be making money on them… like… yesterday.

But I know everything takes time.

My Income for March wasn’t as stellar as February - I made a bit over $20 that month for Adsense. Which is better than February. No big cheques from my affiliates - but that’s understandable for me anyway, because I’d just got 3 last month. I’m optimistic about April. I’m hoping to get my sites up on content - and then start promoting… with that - fingers crossed - more income

Well.. a bit late in my monthy cash flow update… and to be honest, I’ve yet to calculate what I’ve made on my sites for the month of February.  Update is coming… I’m just a mondo-procrastinator.

But what I can tell you is that February brought in 3 cheques.  All over $100 US.  How freakin’ cool is that!  I could definitely get use to that.  See for as long as I’ve been working on my affiliate marketing - I’d have to say that I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve spread myself far to thin affiliate wise.  Meaning?  Well, as far as it goes - I make the sale here and there, but they’re for different affiliate programs.  Meaning that they take longer to accumulate and me getting a cheque.  I was thinking about that the other night.  Thinking why it took so long to get those cheques, and that was the conclusion I came up with.  Too many affiliate programs = too long to accumulate = spread to thin = need to work getting a few affiliate programs that I know work and “pay” on time and develop those programs in a few of my sites and start to accumulate the income faster.  I guess that would be me trying to focus.

Not to say I’m going to be putting all my eggs in one basket, I’m just going to stick with a few of my best performing affiliate programs that have shown me the money love and develop a few more sites promoting their products/services.  See where it takes me.  I’m also going to try to work on my Google Adsense revenue… which from the looks of things royally sucked for February.  That could be the month talking… but I think it’s time for a review of how I could change things up a bit and try to pull in more.

I’ve also found that those lovely text link ads make up a good percentage of what I’ve been earning.  Which is lovely… thank you text link purchasers! Heh.

… so I’ll give a dollar amount later today… or tomorrow… or whenever I can get around to doing it this weekend and let you know how it went.

After being sick for way too long… I’m back.

Just to update what’s been happening (or not happening) around here… so here goes - $120 or thereabouts on my sales/text links/googlish adsense.  Basically every pie I’ve stuck my finger in… there’s the return.  Over $100 but most of it isn’t hitting my pocket.  So… I keep on truckin’.  I’m not sure what’s been happening.  Most sales have come from my Amazon stores.  Nothing from ShareaSale or CJ.   Advertising for a couple of my sites has netted me a nice penny and that has topped my $100 for the month.

I’m back blogging at BeautifulBlogging.com - hoping to be a bit more regular at posting over there.  I just get really overwhelmed with all the cool things that are coming out or are available for WordPress, it’s hard to keep up :)  But I guess that makes for interesting blogging eh!  Not too long ago I realized that my host was down… ugh.  So frustrating - and their site was down so I couldn’t write to them and ask what was happening.  It was frustration (thanks Stu for pointing it out).  But it seems to have been fixed and the site has been online more than it’s been off (whoo hoo).

Thanks to everyone who wrote comments on the whole sick thing :)  It has SUCKED!  But I’m feeling better now!  I hate getting sick… as I’m sure all of you can say as well.

Other than that my sites have just been sitting around getting dusty.  So I’ve got to get back into the swing of things and see where it takes me.
