About a year ago I signed up with ZiggyHost.com and really haven’t had a lot of trouble with them. Until now. It’s been 3 days and my sites I have hosted with them have been down. Down, Down, Down. So I go to their website. Guess what! It’s down too.
Crap. No way to get a hold of them to see what’s up… or rather… what’s down. Now I’m caught in the dilemma of do I wait this out for another couple of days or just start moving domain nameservers for those site and kiss all that work goodbye.
Damn it. This makes me mad.
Maybe I’ll hold out till Friday and see what happens. See if I can dig up an email address and see if that’s working.
Anyone else using Ziggyhost and having the same problems I am?

I only host 1 website with ziggyhost, it’s still up.
I think it’s their mysql server is down, everything else is working.
Lame, they can’t be reached.

YES, yes and yes! I have 5 sites with them - all down for the past 3 days. And I have 3 others with a partner. Seperate accounts but WITH Ziggy.
I am so beyond frustrated. I guess it’s true that you get what you pay for. This is crazy though, this long and nothing… I hope it gets fixed soon so I can hopefully grab my files and MOVE hosts!!

They are finally back up
I will definitely let you know! I am looking at a couple. I use DreamHost for some but I don’t want them all on one. Decisions, Decisions!

… that was partially the reason I picked Ziggy - was to spread out the IP numbers a bit. I’ve been using HostGator for a couple of years - love them. Maybe I’ll have to try Dreamhost out. But keep me posted!!!

DreamHost has been great for me.. I host a phpBB forum, 2 Wordpress blogs, and some other minor sites on there.. The longest any of my sites have been down is about 30 minutes - If it’s any longer, they’ll move you to another server so you’re not affected.

Thanks Trent, I’ve seriously thought I should move my hosting somewhere else. This hasn’t been the first time ZiggyHost has been down, and more than 3 days is just dumb.

Be careful with Trent’s link up there, it contains an affiliate code and he’s attempting to make a quick buck off you.
I’d recommend checking out Hostjury for reviews in the meantime: It’s a great resource and it wouldn’t hurt to post a review about ZiggyHost.
It looks like ZiggyHost is entirely down right now. :/

Odd, it was definitely down earlier today. There was about two hours of an outage.
I didn’t get any reasoning though from them.

I’m not sure why the outages have been happening in such quick order. I’ve been using Ziggy for a year - with 2 downtimes. But lately it seems more unstable. Maybe they need an upgrade
or I need a new webhost!

ziggyhost got hacked by reno and it and my website have been down for a couple of weks now. Anyone know whats going on?
