September 2006 Earnings

Monthly Update Add comments

I made: $119.22

I saw a significant drop in Google Adsense.  Try… I made about half of what I made in August.  I’m under $20 for the month on that one.  I feel like I’ve dropped the ball on that one.  So for October I’ve put Adsense on a couple of new sites (old… but new for Google). To see if I can improve on that loss.  I shouldn’t think it would be too hard, because it royally sucked! :)  I did get an Adsense cheque this month - so you know how it goes.  It sucks but is kind of nice on the other hand because I got some money!

Anyway - I’m working on improving that one.  I did make some good coin with Text Link Ads for September, but a couple of advertisers finished their run mid-September and I’m currently sitting with 2.  I’m wondering if I should say something to them because it looks like I’m now a PR5.  Maybe I can ask for more than $20 a month.  So if you’d like to advertise here, do it now before I give the upping the price a whirl.  We’ll see mind you.  But I would recommend moving on the great price while it’s here!

Other than that the money accumulated was here and there and everywhere.  No cheques besides Google this month.  Although I’m looking at a $50 cheque coming in from ShareaSale… as soon as they get my info for taxes.  Yes, I’m slow.

*sigh*

How did everyone else do for September?  See any spikes?  Drops?  Apart from Google’s drop I didn’t really see any major changes from other advertisers.  How about you?

Record month for me. I did add a whole new site and rejiggered my advertising to point to some of my own sites rather than affiliate sites when there’s no ad to show.

    Seems to have worked.

I also had a record day when one of my pages that was ranked in the top 3 on Google had a breaking news story that centered on it.

So that had a bit to do with it as well.

Did you slack off last month or what?

Get moving girl, with the holidays coming up ad spends are usually higher.

Overall daily revenue for me so far this month is about 50-100% above normal and I haven’t even really done anything out of the ordinary.

Ahhhhhh…. DAMN IT! How did you know I was slacking off in September :)

Seriously tho, I’ve got my lists made and I’m actually get stuff done! Checking it off as I go - so I don’t get discouraged and think that I’m not getting anything done at all. But really I can go look and say - yup… I am doing what I set out for myself.

Like you said, Christmas season is coming :)

Glad to hear that things are on the upswing for you too Digger!

… now where did I put my remote…..

    Hahaha… just kidding!
