I was reading some blogs today and I’ve found that 9rules has been removing some sites from their network because the authors of the sites are working for other blog networks.
Ben at College Startup found himself in this situation - once his site showed off the 9rules logo, but as of today the logo is no more and he isn’t apart of the 9rules network. Due to him building blog templates for BlogMedia - this is what he gets… he’s not got other blogs in any other networks - it’s removal by association.
I recommend that you go and check out what’s happening to a few of the sites in 9rules [Link is Here] - I wonder how many more blogs have been affected. I find it rather odd that they’re doing this - it’s not that they’ve got blogs in other networks or that they’re slamming 9rules. Guilt by association - I mean most all of us have jobs outside the sphere of blogging and might actually work for others to build templates/internet stuff… so how did 9rules figure that taking people like Ben out of the network was a good thing?
