After all the frustration with GoDaddy.com I decided to make yet another leap into the world of Domain Hosting while my Registerfly account was being updated with their PayPal upgrades. I decided to give NameCheap.com a try.
NameCheap offers domain name registration and transfers for as low as $8.88 - which isn’t so bad is it? They also offer FREE domain name “WhoIs” protection with each new domain that you register. Signing up wasn’t as hard to find as it was on GoDaddy.com and within a few minutes I had my new account.
NameCheap offered PayPal as an option - which was why I decided to give them a try after everything else I’d been through with those darn registrars before. Within a few minutes I had transfered $25 dollars into my account with NameCheap and I was ready to rumble! What I liked about the whole PayPal process with NameCheap was the fact that it was all in real-time. For me there wasn’t any lag-time between the two sites… which totally rocked.
So I bought my first domain with them, and I got Free Whois Protection as promised… and it went really smoothly. Just the way I like it… although currently I feel a little odd - I have nothing to bitch about with these guys … yet
