Debt Management Site #1

Debt Management Add comments

It’s amazing… maybe its because I’ve built a blog for this site… I’m not sure. But within a day Google had indexed it and cached the site. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen to me - EVER. I got a couple of backlinks to this new site - which really seems to have helped.

I’m totally stoked :P

Here are the Stats so far:
Site Started: August 20, 2003
Cached Page on: August 23, 2005
Backlinks:
August 23, 2005: Google: — | Yahoo: 2 | MSN: 2 | Teoma: – Total: 4

Debt Management has always interested me, since I’m always in need of Debt Management. I thought this way I can share my experiences, offer information, resources, that sort of thing to people out there.

Yet another “unoriginal” idea by the Empress :P

Was this a new or existing domain? That’s phenomenal.

Another thing you can do is add the feed to My Yahoo!, MSN Home, and Google Personalized pages. Spidered in seconds.

I checked the Wayback Machine at web.archive.org and there’s nothing showing up for my website. It’s as new on the net as it is to me. Which totally boggled my mind!

I’ll be adding the blog feed to those sites as well tonight and see where it takes me :)

Congratulations on the fast indexing. Blogs are amazing that way. I have some traditional, static websites which have been live for 2 months and have over a dozen backlinks which STILL aren’t indexed by Yahoo or MSN, even though Google has picked them up. And I have other sites that MSN has crawled thoroughly, and Google only has one page of…

That is AWESOME! And your idea is amazing- There are so many young families that could use this site- who is your target auidience? ;)

    Thanks for the feedback everyone!

To be honest - it appears that blogs seem to be the way to go currently when building websites. It just seems to be indexed faster and its so easy to update the content. Of course I love just the regular HTML sites too… but there’s a place for everything on the http://WWW. Blogs just seem to get it done faster.

As far as target audience goes… ummm… I was just thinking of people with debt problems. I think a good “niche” to work with would be young families - who just don’t have the knowledge behind them to make good financial decisions - and a site that offered that info… good idea Marketing Diva! :)

    Hi

I started a debt management blog a few months ago. If you don’t mind sharing I’d like to know how well your affiliate links are doing. Maybe we can do a link exchange.

  7. Empress Says:

Hi Debt, Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner! Sure we can do a link exchange… I’ll stop by your site and drop you a line - or you can contact me (which would probably get a faster response!) at:

    Talk to you soon!
