Well, yes and no - its more than just MP3s… its about my love of techno music - dance music - trance, rave, euro dance… what ever falls into that category of Dance Music. I love the stuff. I thought why not build a site around that love of dance music.

I’ve had the domain name for quite some time now, and I’ve morphed that site into different variations of my love dance music - trying to make it great with quality content, interesting enough to have people come back to the site OFTEN and my biggest challenge - and one that I’ve not yet managed to pull off…

MAKE MONEY WITH IT.

Plain and simple - I’m having a hard time making any money from this site. In its previous life - I made almost $70 on Clickbank - but it just was not enough and too far inbetween for me to say I was successful with it. So I’m currently working on a new layout for the site - that isn’t dark and mysterious, but light and fun - with a clear navigation - as much automation of content as I can get with it. I might throw in a blog to spice things up. Its not so hard, once the template is in place. But we’ll see.

I’m also trying a new forum on the site - see if I can pull in interested people who share a love for dance music. I’m not sure really how “popular” dance music is on the Internet. It’s not mainstream quite yet, but in the past few years its made great head-way into the mainstream with artists like Moby, Chemical Brothers, and others… that I just can’t think of at the moment.

I’m going to try a newsletter - and hopefully REMEMBER to send out monthly incentives - maybe to ITunes, Amazon, Napster - try to keep the advertising to the niche that this site is. I’ve got several affiliate programs/ad networks for this site, such as Clickbank and LinkShare with a twist of Commission Junction and the cherry on top with Shareasale.

I’m not sure when the site will be completed - I’ve managed to make the index page template and I’ve started to fill in the blanks with some basic content. I hope to have the site completed within the next two weeks.
